We had such a fun-filled week of myth-busting adventure! It was like a treasure hunt as we explored which myths are true and which are just stories or magical illusions. The campers had a blast trying to debunk all sorts of myths—even the one about our resident Bigfoot wandering around camp, which turned out to be just one of our silly counselors in disguise….
Instructional Sports: Advanced Pickleball
In our second week of pickleball at Country Life Kids Camp, the campers had a fantastic time sharpening their skills! We focused on improving our offensive and defensive moves to rule the court. Working together in doubles play was a big highlight, as we learned to move in sync with our partners and communicate effectively to defend the court like pros.

During the special event, the counselors challenged the campers on their LEGO bridge build. Each team successfully built a LEGO bridge that was more than 5 bricks high and hels a camper's weight!
During our Religious Education program, the campers took on exciting myth-busting challenges as they explored well-known Bible stories, connecting them to science in such fascinating ways! We chatted about how putting the “small stuff” first in our lives helps us make room for the “big important stuff.”
Our Art program was a blast too — we put paint in film canisters with Alka-Seltzer and waited for an awesome splashtastic explosion of abstract art!
The Slip 'n Slide is a huge hit on a nice hot day!
During recess, campers got creative with sidewalk chalk. JJ the duck was very pleased with the portrait campers drew!
Campers explored a new part of the creek this week and gathered rocks to build their own rock gardens.
The Cooperative Games track was all about laughter and action! We ducked, dodged, and jumped our way through an action-packed week of dodgeball games, improving our coordination, balance, flexibility, and agility while having a great workout. We played exciting dodgeball games like Gladiators, Dr. Dodgeball, Prison Ball, Island Dodgeball, and Hoop Shoot Dodgeball—all designed to bring out the champion in each of us!

Campers worked as a team to develop a strategy for this challenge: can you remove just one block from the Jenga tower, without knocking it down?

CLKC’s older campers collected donations and put activity bags together for children who are battling cancer. Thanks to CLKC families, the campers were able to send over 75 bags to Cleveland Clinic Hospital! Thank you to all who donated to this project!
From the nurses at the Cleveland Clinic "Thank you for your kindness! We are so excited to use these to brighten the day when our patients have surgery or need chemotherapy infusions."
Up, up, and away! Campers enjoyed following the Solar Tube, which took off over the game fields on Friday afternoon!
Overall, this week was a festive array of exciting activities and good old-fashioned fun.
Thank you for sharing your incredible kids with us this week!
