This week has been a fun-filled science adventure where campers bent, stretched, and squashed their way through exciting polymer experiments! Did you know that both plants and animals have their own natural polymers? Campers this week participated in wild experiments that even the minions would be amazed by!
During the Special Event, campers had to solve the mystery!
Our Instructional Sports track fully immersed itself in an intense soccer training program
designed to help campers reach new performance levels. Technical and tactical games
challenged them to sharpen their competitive edge and develop a “will” to become champions on the field. The effort displayed by the campers this week was truly impressive! They also participated in our custom agility training program, which focused on building core strength for improved speed, power, and endurance.

Why should Gru have all the fun? Campers created their own Minions and added personalized accessories. Campers also used paints and a step by step tutorial to create their own minion!
The garden is producing! Campers helped maintain the raised garden beds by watering, weeding, and harvesting fruits and vegetables this week. Campers learned about parts of the plant and how to tell when vegetables are ready to be picked. The highlight of the day was getting to try a fresh cucumber, straight from the garden!

Do you know the difference between and bug and an insect? How about the three body parts: head, thorax, and abdomen? Have you ever EATEN a bug??? Several campers, and one brave counselor, rose to the challenge, some of them even said they tasted good!

Quack, quack, quack! Three new ducklings have hatched at camp. They enjoy swimming in the kiddie pool and getting to know the campers. Camper of the Day and Athlete of the Day have the privilege of providing duck care during stewardship time.

In the Cooperative Games track, campers learned the fundamentals of basketball, focusing on dribbling, passing, shooting, and rebounding. They participated in multiple team games that challenged their offensive and defensive strategic understanding, enhancing their court awareness.
During the creek walks, campers used clay to build Minion sculptures, they also added plant pieces to accessorize! There's always some fun to be found in the creek.
In a Trail Quest Challenge, campers worked together to find all the pieces for the minion puzzles before time ran out.
Water fun is always a big hit, here campers are hanging out on the splash pad and participating in water balloon relay races.

Campers learned how monomers interact and create a chain to create polymers using the parachute and plastic balls as an example.
During the Special Event, our very own villain, Balthazor Bratt, was on a mission to find the missing bananas! Even though they may have stolen some, there were still plenty of bananas around camp this week. As the Minions would say "Banana!" which translates loosely to "have a great weekend" we look forward to seeing our fabulous campers again next week!
