What an incredible week we had at Country Life Kids Camp as our campers soared through activities designed to transform them into astronauts, aviators, and mission specialists. From the moment they arrived, the energy was sky‑high and the excitement never slowed down.

🌌 Special Event Spotlight: Galactic Games & Space‑Bound Fun

Campers blasted off into adventure with Planetary Shaving Cream Dodgeball, dodging and weaving through a galaxy of foam‑covered fun. The cosmic excitement continued during Galactic Water Wars, where teams raced through streams of water to collect as many “planets” as possible and return them to their space stations. Sunshine, teamwork, and laughter filled every corner of camp.

We also took to the skies by launching helicopters, testing paper airplanes, and experimenting with flight paths, lift, and design — hands‑on challenges that brought real aerospace concepts to life and sparked endless curiosity.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the week was a thrilling presentation by Mama J, who brought the Space Race to camp with her incredible collection of memorabilia, flight suits, and stories about the past and future of space exploration. Campers were captivated as she shared how innovation, courage, and imagination have shaped human spaceflight — and where it may take us next.

⛳ Instructional Sports Track: Golf Fundamentals Take Flight

Our Instructional Sports Track added even more excitement as campers “swung” into a fun, educational, and active introduction to golf. This supportive and engaging environment blended skill‑building with games and teamwork to foster a genuine love for the sport. Campers practiced grip, stance, swing, putting, chipping, and course etiquette through interactive drills and friendly competitions. Whether brand‑new to golf or sharpening existing skills, campers built athletic ability and character — one swing at a time.

🌠 Cooperative Games Track: Adventures Across the CLKC Galaxy

Our Cooperative Games Track launched campers into an exhilarating adventure as galactic explorers navigating vibrant, themed dodgeball and kickball challenges. Campers gathered their fearless teams of astronauts and prepared to journey through the cosmos, dodging fiery asteroids streaking across the starry expanse and unleashing powerful laser beams as they battled their way across the field of play. Every challenge became an opportunity for discovery, teamwork, and excitement as they traveled through the enchanting CLKC galaxy.

Campers explored how decision‑making becomes clearer with the right tools and values, learning how to choose what’s best for themselves and others.

Campers learned about Paul’s mission and what it means to boldly carry out a purpose, discovering how courage and conviction guide a meaningful life.

🐦 Young Naturalists — Secrets of Flight

Campers studied the wonders of bird species and uncovered the natural engineering behind flight! We also introduced our campers to our CLKC hydroponic systems and how growing plants in nutrients and water will help reach our future space endeavours.

📡 Young Engineers — Radio Waves

Campers learned how radio waves travel through air, space, and even solid objects before building a ham radio — one of the earliest forms of wireless communication.

✈️ Mystery Lab — NASA Glider Lab & Oreo Moon Phases

Using NASA‑approved paper airplane designs, campers tested glider approaches and explored how lift and force affect flight. They also enjoyed a deliciously hands‑on Oreo Cookie Moon Lab, sculpting the cream to model each phase of the Moon.

🎨 Art — Night Sky Creations

Campers forged their own night skies using wet‑on‑wet paint techniques and splatter effects, creating cosmic masterpieces as unique as each of them.

It was a week filled with discovery, imagination, growth, and joyful exploration. Our campers didn’t just learn about space — they lived the adventure.
