Jessica Radecky Asst. Director

Jessica Radecky, affectionately known as “Mama J,” is an Independent Contractor who has proudly served Country Life Kids Camp for more than 15 years as an Assistant Camp Director and Curriculum Developer. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human factors psychology and education from The College of Wooster, followed by a master’s degree in sport psychology and education from The University of Akron.


Jessica brings a deep passion for creating dynamic, problem based learning environments where campers are inspired to explore, grow, and most importantly have FUN. With over 20 years of summer camp leadership and over 10 years of formal teaching experience, she has cultivated a rich and diverse background in education. Her teaching journey includes roles at both local and national programs such as the U.S. Space Camp and Aviation Challenge, COSI, and the Great Lakes Science Center. She has taught learners from kindergarten through graduate school, including a university-level position in the Sport Science and Wellness Education Department at The University of Akron. Jessica has also served as an assistant principal, further strengthening her leadership, instructional coaching, and curriculum development expertise.
 

Drawing from her extensive experience and advanced education, Jessica has developed a powerful educational philosophy centered on equipping young people with lifelong learning and leadership skills. Her commitment to crafting meaningful and immersive experiences for campers is nothing short of extraordinary. She continually seeks new ways to innovate, adapt, and evolve. Ensuring that every child is supported, challenged, and inspired.
