Jessica Radecky Asst. Director

     Jessica Radecky “Mama J” is an Independent Contractor and has proudly been with Country Life Kids Camp for 13 years as an Assistant Camp Director and Curriculum Developer.  Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in human factors psychology and education at The College of Wooster.  She then earned her master’s degree in sport psychology and education at The University of Akron. 

     She is passionate about creating a problem-based learning atmosphere that engages the campers in learning while having FUN!  She has a strong background in academics with 20 years of summer camp experience and 10 years of formal teaching experience.  She has taught at local and national summer camps such as U.S. Space Camp and Aviation Challenge, COSI and Great Lakes Science Center.  Jessica's most recent formal teaching position was at the University of Akron in the Sport Science and Wellness Education Department.  She has taught all grade levels from kindergarten to Graduate School.  She also earned the “Teacher of the Year” award through the Diocese of Cleveland.

     Through her multitude of experiences and higher education, she has developed an influential philosophy that will help your camper develop a toolkit for life learning and leadership.  Her dedication for creating an engaging and immersive experience for the campers is truly magical and takes years to master.  She never stops finding ways to improve, adapt and evolve with the ever-changing educational market.
