Justin Austin

Justin Austin first became involved in Country Life Kids Camp in the summer of 2015 and became the head soccer coach for the program for the summer of 2017.

He has been playing soccer since he was 4 years old and hopes to continue to play soccer either through intramurals or a club team at the University of Cincinnati next year. In his high school career at Archbishop Hoban, Justin was captain of the JV squad his sophomore and junior year, and was a part of the leadership team for the Varsity squad in his senior year. During senior year, the Varsity squad won the title of NCL champions, beating teams such as Padua, Lake Catholic, NDCL, and Benedictine.

Aside from his passion for soccer, Justin was an active member both inside and outside of school. In his four years at Hoban, Justin was in four musicals, having supporting leads his freshman, sophomore, and junior year, and the main lead his senior year; was the Vice President of his class on Student Council for his first three years of high school and the Co-President of the student body his senior year; as well as, served as a Student Ambassador and a Eucharistic Minister. Outside of school, Justin was an active member of his Boy Scout Troop, Troop 506. He has worked to complete his Eagle and will hopefully be receiving this honor before the summer is out. Boy Scouts also gave him a love for serving others, which lead him to take an opportunity to go on an alternative spring break trip to New Orleans this year, where he and ten classmates worked to build a house in the Ninth Ward.

Justin graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School in 2017 with honors and a cumulative GPA of 4.1. He will be going on to study Medical Sciences at the University of Cincinnati next year. He will continue to play club soccer here and expand his service work to Cincinnati, Ohio.
